I wish I could speak like Music ~ Hafiz

I wish I could speak like music

I wish I could put the swaying splendor of the fields into words

So that you could hold Truth
Against your body and dance

I am trying the best I can
With this crude brush, the tongue,

To cover you with Light.

Oneness with a Beloved

Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010

I am with you, my beloved.
Forever are you sealed in my heart.
Eternally treasured as the rarest gemstone.
There you lie in the center, radiating the infinite Now.
The memories are not lost like dust in the wind.
A present feeling of ecstatic love whispers with
a gentle breeze: Oneness

The Rose by Amanda McBroom

Some say love, it is a river that drowns the tender reed.
Some say love, it is a razor that leaves your soul to bleed.
Some say love, it is a hunger, an endless aching need.
I say love, it is a flower, and you it’s only seed.

It’s the heart, afraid of breaking, that never learns to dance.
It’s the dream, afraid of waking, that never takes a chance.
It’s the one who won’t be taken, who cannot seem to give.
And the soul, afraid of dyin’, that never learns to live.

When the night has been too lonely, and the road has been too long,
And you think that love is only for the lucky and the strong,
Just remember in the winter far beneath the bitter snows,
Lies the seed, that with the sun’s love, in the spring becomes The Rose.

Mastering Emotions and Nutrition for your Body

What do you think is the No 1 reason de-tox gives a boost to your immune system?

The ancient Vedic literature asserts that there are five elements that make up nature or the external world: Water, Fire, Air, Space, and Ether. Interestingly these five elements are also associated with the organs in our body. Fire is related to the heart, Ether to the pancreas, space to the liver, air to the lungs, & water to the kidneys. Additionally each organ is related to certain emotional states.

For instance – heart (fire) is related to love and joy as well and also grief and depression. The digestive system (pancreas/ether) is related to centeredness and worry. The respiratory system (air) is related to grief and deep knowing. The regenerative and cellular reproductive system (kidneys/water) is related to mindfulness and being overly fearful. Anger and courage are related to body’s purification system (liver/space).

The breakthrough insight then to attain calm, serene and peaceful emotional states is to be aware of what we feed into our bodies. Hence the saying goes – ‘We are what we eat’. The transformational healing can be had by simply raising our awareness, conscious eating habits and where we choose to put our attention on.
